It all started when Prophet and Masochist felt the yearning for a new way of thinking. They had been integral parts of the TPC, the premier clan in all of Kingpin. But they soon tired of the bureaucracy of a large clan, and felt the need to start out on their own. They envisioned, the "next generation" DOA.

But this time, things were going to be different. They wanted to succeed where others had failed. So the rules were thrown out. First, the clan would be, and forever stay small. There would never be more than six members. Second, there are no leaders. Everyone that is on the roster has equal say on anything. Lastly, the clan would consist of only "super-elite" players. With these new rules in hand, the DOA was officially back.

Quietly, the Prophet and Masochist started making action on their ideas, and sought out the highly skilled AlleyCat, who had been estranged from the land of Kingpin. For this "new generation" of DOA, the aid of AlleyCat was essential. After much deliberation, AlleyCat said he was in, and the ball started rolling. The DOA now had a core nucleus of the three super elite players, and need two more.

Prophet and Masochist each had their ideas of whom they should get. Masochist saw the talents of a player from the AK, named Mega. After being approached, Mega decided to join the DOA. Now all that was left was one more. IceMan, brother of Fireman, was an awesome talent. Through some quick maneuvering, the talents of Ice were brought under the wing of the DOA.

The core nucleus was complete; the world was about to be shocked.

And shockwaves, they were. Two things happened after that fateful day. One, there was a new team in town, and the writing was already on the wall for all but the best competition. Second, the backlash from some TPC members was harsh, yet understandable as the team never fully recovered from the loss of Masochist and Prophet.

So we come to today. When the DOA was formed, its detractors thought history would repeat itself and the clan would crumble like others. As of today, the clan is ranked #1 in the OGL for Team Deathmatch. It has held the position for months, and has never lost. The team gets stronger and stronger as the games go by. Since it's initial exception, the team has added the awesome talents of Sh0cker and FirePunk, as AlleyCat focused on other games, Warlock and Rage had other priorities to attend to. With the strong nucleus of Prophet, Masochist, Mega, Iceman, FirePunk, and Sh0cker, the DOA is united as one.

"The DOA. If our line-up doesn't scare you dead, we probably already fragged you."
